Perfect for my evening bag project
The sequins are securely attached and the fabric has a nice drape. I used it to line a clutch bag and it looks incredibly luxurious. The color matched the photos perfectly.

Stunning decorative cloth

Great quality but sheds slightly
Beautiful fabric that catches the light wonderfully. I noticed a few loose sequins when cutting, so be sure to work over a trash can. Overall, very happy with the purchase for my costume design.

Good value for money
For the price, you get a generous amount of fabric. The sequin density is high, giving full coverage. Just take your time when sewing to avoid breaking needles on the sequins.

Good but stiffer than expected
The sparkle is fantastic, but the fabric is a bit stiffer than I anticipated for making headwear. It works fine for structured items like bags, but might need softening for hats.

Excellent for stage costumes
Bought this for a theater production backdrop and accessories. It reflects stage lights amazingly well. The mesh backing makes it easy to sew without too much bulk.
Q: Is the backing visible between the sequins?
A: The sequins are densely packed to minimize visibility of the black mesh backing. From a normal viewing distance, the coverage appears solid and opaque.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for machine washing?
A: We recommend hand washing this sequin fabric in cold water to preserve the shine and attachment of the sequins. Machine washing may cause damage or tangling.
Q: Does this fabric have stretch in both directions?
A: The fabric has a slight horizontal stretch due to the mesh backing, but virtually no vertical stretch. Please account for this when patterning your project.
Q: Can I dye this fabric to change the color?
A: Since the base material is polyester and the sequins are plastic, standard fabric dyes will not work effectively. We suggest purchasing the specific color you need directly.
Q: What type of needle should I use for sewing this?
A: A universal or denim needle (size 90/14 or 100/16) works best. Go slowly when sewing over sequins to prevent needle breakage, and consider using a walking foot if available.
