Solid for emulation
Handles PS2 and GameCube emulation much better than previous generations. Only minor issue is some specific HATs need firmware updates to work correctly.

Great board, needs active cooling
Performance is excellent, but it does run warm under load. Make sure to get the official active cooler or a good third-party heatsink fan combo.

Best learning tool available
Using this for my computer science projects. The documentation is vast, and the community support is unmatched. Shipping was incredibly fast too.
Q: What is the maximum resolution supported for dual displays?
A: The board supports dual 4Kp60 displays simultaneously via its two micro-HDMI ports, provided you use high-quality HDMI cables.
Q: Can I use my old Raspberry Pi 4 cases with this model?
A: While the dimensions are identical, the port placement and connector types (specifically the power button and camera connector) have changed. We recommend using a case designed specifically for the Pi 5.
Q: Does this board come with a power supply included?
A: No, the development board is sold separately. We recommend purchasing a 27W USB-C Power Supply specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi 5 to ensure stable performance.
Q: Is the PCIe interface compatible with standard NVMe SSDs?
A: Yes, the Raspberry Pi 5 features a PCIe 2.0 x1 interface. You will need an M.2 HAT or adapter to connect standard NVMe SSDs for high-speed storage.
Q: Is shipping really via SF Express as stated?
A: Yes, for this specific listing, we utilize SF Express for domestic delivery to ensure your kit arrives quickly and securely while in stock.
