Solid build quality
The PCB layout is clean, and the silkscreen labels are very helpful for identifying pins. The only minor issue is that the reset button feels a bit stiff, but it functions correctly.

Plug and play experience
I was worried about driver installation, but it worked immediately on Windows 10. The STC-ISP software detected the chip right away. Highly recommended for anyone starting with the 8051 architecture.

Best budget board for university projects

Perfect for learning embedded systems

Great value but manual could be better
The hardware quality is solid for the price. All peripherals like the buzzer and LEDs work as expected. I wish the included example code had more comments for absolute beginners, but online resources fill the gap.

Excellent gift for my son
