Solid build quality
The PCB layout is clean, and the silkscreen labels are very helpful for identifying pins. The only minor issue is that the reset button feels a bit stiff, but it functions correctly.

Plug and play experience
I was worried about driver installation, but it worked immediately on Windows 10. The STC-ISP software detected the chip right away. Highly recommended for anyone starting with the 8051 architecture.

Best budget board for university projects
Our entire class uses these boards for our embedded systems course. They are reliable, cheap, and have all the necessary interfaces like UART and I2C broken out for easy access.

Perfect for learning embedded systems
This board is exactly what I needed to start my journey with 51 microcontrollers. The documentation is clear, and the onboard USB programmer makes uploading code incredibly easy without needing extra hardware.

Great value but manual could be better
The hardware quality is solid for the price. All peripherals like the buzzer and LEDs work as expected. I wish the included example code had more comments for absolute beginners, but online resources fill the gap.

Excellent gift for my son
Bought this for my teenager who is interested in electronics. It's robust enough to handle mistakes and has enough features to keep him busy for months. The dual voltage support is a nice touch.
Q: Does it support PWM output?
A: Yes, the STC8G2K64S4 microcontroller features multiple PWM channels which are accessible via the GPIO headers on the board.
Q: Where can I download the datasheet for the STC8G2K64S4?
A: You can find the official datasheet and user manuals on the manufacturer's website or the product support page linked in your order confirmation email.
Q: Does this board come with a USB cable?
A: Yes, the kit includes a standard Micro-USB cable for power and programming.
Q: Can I power this board with a 9V battery?
A: No, please do not connect 9V directly. The board operates at 3.3V or 5V via the USB port or the designated 5V pin. Connecting higher voltage may damage the components.
Q: Is this compatible with Keil C51 compiler?
A: Absolutely. The STC8G2K64S4 chip is fully compatible with the Keil C51 development environment.
