Perfect for compact IoT projects
The onboard 8x8 LED matrix is a game changer for visual feedback without needing extra components. Wi-Fi connection was stable right out of the box using Arduino IDE.

Great board, minor documentation gap
Hardware quality is excellent and the S3 chip is fast. I wished the pinout diagram for the LED matrix was slightly more detailed in the quick start guide, but community forums helped.

Compact and powerful
Love the size. It fits perfectly inside my small robot chassis. Only giving 4 stars because the header pins need to be soldered manually, which is expected but worth noting.

Best value for money
I bought five of these for a workshop. All of them worked flawlessly. The integrated LEDs make teaching embedded concepts much more engaging for students.

Solid build quality
Used this for a prototype sensor node. The USB-C port is robust, and the BLE 5 range is impressive for such a small form factor. Highly recommended for industrial prototyping.
Q: Is the LED matrix addressable individually?
A: Yes, the 8x8 matrix uses WS2812B LEDs, allowing you to control each of the 64 LEDs individually for color and brightness via software.
Q: Does this board support external antennas for better Wi-Fi range?
A: This specific Mini model uses an onboard PCB antenna. For applications requiring an external antenna, please consider our standard ESP32-S3 DevKit models with U.FL connectors.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the GPIO pins?
A: Yes, you can supply 3.3V to the 3V3 pin, but we strongly recommend using the USB-C port for stable power delivery, especially when driving the LED matrix at full brightness.
Q: What is the maximum current draw when all LEDs are on white?
A: When all 64 LEDs are set to maximum brightness white, the board can draw up to 1.2A. Ensure your USB power source can supply at least 1.5A to avoid voltage drops.
Q: Does it come with pre-soldered headers?
A: No, the board comes with a separate pin header strip in the package to allow flexibility for soldering male headers, female headers, or no headers depending on your project needs.
