Solid industrial control candidate
We are testing these for a new control module. The stability is impressive over 48 hours of continuous run. Only minor issue was the initial driver installation on an older Windows PC.

Powerful but needs careful pin mapping
Excellent board with great speed. Just note that the GPIO pinout differs slightly from the original ESP32, so check the schematic before connecting your sensors. Otherwise, it's fantastic.

Best value for money
Having 8MB of flash and 8MB of PSRAM at this price point is unbeatable. WiFi connection is stable, and Bluetooth LE works perfectly for my sensor gateway application.

Perfect for AIoT Projects

Great upgrade from standard ESP32
I switched to the S3 for a project requiring better USB handling and more memory. It works flawlessly with ESP-IDF. The build quality from Waveshare is solid as always.

Smooth MicroPython experience
Flashed MicroPython immediately without issues. The extra RAM allows for much larger scripts and buffers. Highly recommended for anyone moving beyond basic blinking LED projects.
