Perfect for IoT Prototyping
This board is exactly what I needed for my smart home project. The touch screen is responsive, and the Wi-Fi connection is stable. Setting up the environment with Arduino IDE was straightforward.

Great hardware, documentation could be better
The build quality is excellent and the screen colors are vibrant. However, finding specific pinout diagrams for the SD card interface took some digging in the wiki. Otherwise, a solid dev board.

Love the USB-C port
Finally, a development board that uses USB-C! No more flipping the cable three times. The board powers up instantly and the touch library examples worked out of the box.

Excellent value for money
Compared to other ESP32 boards with screens, this offers the best price-to-performance ratio. The BLE5 support works flawlessly with my mobile app tests.

Good for learning embedded systems
I am using this for my university project. It handles graphics well enough for basic UIs. The only downside is that it gets slightly warm during heavy Wi-Fi usage, but nothing concerning.

Robust and reliable
I've integrated this into a small robot controller. The SD card slot allows me to log sensor data easily, and the form factor fits perfectly in my chassis. Highly recommended.
Q: Does it come with a protective case?
A: No, this package includes only the development board. Protective cases are sold separately, or you can design and 3D print your own using the dimension specifications provided in the datasheet.
Q: Is the touch screen capacitive or resistive?
A: The 1.9-inch display featured on this board uses a capacitive touch panel, which supports multi-touch gestures and offers a smoother user experience compared to resistive screens.
Q: Can I power this board via the GPIO pins instead of USB?
A: While technically possible to inject 5V into the 5V pin, we strongly recommend using the USB Type-C port for stable power delivery, especially when driving the LCD screen and Wi-Fi simultaneously.
Q: What file system formats are supported on the SD card?
A: The board typically supports FAT32 formatted SD cards out of the box when using standard libraries like SD.h or FFat. exFAT may require additional library configuration.
Q: Does this board support external antennas for better range?
