Perfect for RISC-V Projects
This board is excellent for getting started with the ESP32-C3 series. The USB-C connection makes programming effortless, and the Bluetooth 5 connectivity works flawlessly with my IoT sensors.

Solid Board with Good Pinout
The layout is logical and easy to breadboard. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the reset button feels a bit stiff, but it functions correctly.

Great Value, Minor Documentation Gaps
Hardware quality is top-notch and the pinout is clearly labeled. I deducted one star because some of the advanced peripheral examples in the docs could be more detailed, but community support fills the gap.

Ideal for Learning
As a student learning embedded systems, this board is perfect. It supports both Arduino IDE and ESP-IDF, making the transition from beginner to advanced projects very smooth.
Q: What is the maximum current draw for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard LDO regulator can supply up to 600mA, but we recommend keeping the load on the 3.3V pin under 300mA for optimal stability and heat management.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython out of the box?
A: Yes, the ESP32-C3FH4 is fully compatible with MicroPython. You will need to flash the latest firmware image, which is easily done via the USB-C port using standard tools.
Q: Can I use this with the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. Simply add the ESP32 board manager URL to your Arduino IDE preferences, install the ESP32 package by Espressif, and select 'Xiao ESP32C3' or the specific Waveshare variant from the board list.
Q: Does it come with headers soldered?
