Superior to previous generation boards
Upgraded from an older quad-core board and the difference is night and day. The octa-core architecture handles multi-threaded tasks effortlessly. The video encoding capabilities are also a huge plus for our surveillance project.

Best value for high-performance ARM development
For the price point, you cannot beat the specs. The 4K output is crisp, and the AI inference speed is competitive with much more expensive solutions. Tronlong has really delivered a winner here.

Great hardware, documentation needs improvement
Hardware quality is top-notch and the build feels very robust for industrial environments. However, some of the English translations in the manual were a bit confusing. Once we figured it out, the board performed flawlessly.

Solid choice for prototyping
Used this for rapid prototyping of a smart gateway device. The variety of interfaces like CAN and RS485 saved us from needing extra expansion modules. Only minor issue was the initial driver installation for the NPU.

Perfect for edge computing deployment
We deployed ten of these boards in our factory automation line. The stability at high temperatures is remarkable, and the dual Ethernet ports make network configuration very flexible. Highly recommended for serious developers.
Q: What is the warranty period for industrial bulk orders?
A: Standard individual units come with a 1-year warranty. For industrial bulk orders exceeding 50 units, we offer an extended 3-year warranty option along with dedicated technical account management.
Q: Is there support for TensorFlow Lite or PyTorch?
A: Yes, the 6T NPU is fully compatible with TensorFlow Lite and PyTorch models. We provide a toolchain to convert standard ONNX models into the optimized format required for our NPU accelerator.
Q: Can I use standard Raspberry Pi HATs with this board?
A: No, this board uses a custom high-density connector layout designed for industrial applications and is not pin-compatible with Raspberry Pi HATs. We offer our own line of expansion modules specifically for the RK3576 interface.
Q: What is the power consumption under full load?
A: Under typical full CPU and NPU load, the board consumes approximately 8-10 Watts. With idle peripherals and low usage, it can drop below 3 Watts thanks to its dynamic power management features.
Q: Does this board support Ubuntu or Android OS?
A: Yes, the Tronlong RK3576 board officially supports both Ubuntu Linux and Android 12. We provide pre-compiled images and source code for both operating systems on our developer portal.
