Great board, documentation could be better
Hardware is solid and the WiFi module connects easily. However, finding specific pin mappings for the CAN bus required digging into the schematic rather than a clear guide.

Considering the feature set including WiFi and multiple industrial buses, the price point is unbeatable. Boot times are incredibly fast.

Perfect for industrial prototyping
The inclusion of both RS485 and FDCAN right out of the box saved me weeks of wiring external modules. The H743IIT6 handles real-time data processing effortlessly.

Significant upgrade from VIT6
The extra SRAM and higher clock speed make a noticeable difference in my DSP algorithms. The form factor fits perfectly into our existing test fixtures.

Robust communication options
We tested the RS485 interface in a noisy environment and it held up well. Only minor issue was the initial WiFi firmware needed an update.

Excellent for learning advanced MCU features
Used this for my senior project involving motor control over CAN. The onboard debugger worked flawlessly with STM32CubeIDE.
Q: Can I power this board directly via the VIN pin?
A: Yes, the VIN pin accepts an input voltage range of 7V to 12V. The onboard regulator will step this down to power the MCU and peripherals.
Q: Are there example projects available for the FDCAN interface?
A: We provide a GitHub repository with example projects for STM32CubeIDE that demonstrate FDCAN configuration and basic message transmission/reception.
Q: Does this board support FreeRTOS out of the box?
A: Yes, the board is fully compatible with FreeRTOS. You can easily configure it using STM32CubeMX to generate the necessary initialization code.
Q: Is the WiFi module pre-flashed with AT firmware?
A: Yes, the integrated ESP8266 comes pre-loaded with AT command firmware, allowing easy control via UART from the main STM32 controller.
Q: What voltage levels does the RS485 interface operate at?
A: The onboard RS485 transceiver operates at standard 3.3V logic levels but is 5V tolerant on the bus side, suitable for most industrial networks.
