Great value, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is solid and the pinout is standard. While the board itself is fantastic, the included quick-start guide could be more detailed for absolute beginners. Otherwise, a great purchase.

Good learning tool
As someone new to ARM development, this board was a gentle introduction. The MicroPython support makes debugging much easier than writing pure C. Would buy again.

Ideal for university projects
Used this for my final year embedded systems project. The Cortex-M4 core handles complex calculations easily, and the community support for STM32 is huge. Delivered quickly too.
Q: Can I power this board with a 9V battery?
A: Yes, you can connect a 9V battery to the VIN pin. The onboard voltage regulator will step it down safely to the required operating levels.
Q: Does it support hardware floating-point operations?
A: Yes, the ARM Cortex-M4F core includes a single-precision Floating Point Unit (FPU) for efficient mathematical calculations.
Q: What is the maximum current output for the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard regulator can supply up to 200mA on the 3.3V rail, which is sufficient for most sensors and peripheral modules.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed bootloader?
A: Yes, the board comes with a standard DFU bootloader, allowing you to flash firmware directly via USB without an external programmer.
Q: Is this compatible with the Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can use the Arduino IDE by installing the appropriate STM32 board package through the Board Manager.
