Fun but requires some coding knowledge
The robot dog moves smoothly once calibrated. The AI voice features are cool but require setting up API keys which was a bit tricky for a beginner. Good support from the community though.

Great learning tool for kids

Solid hardware design
The PCB layout is clean, and the pinouts are clearly labeled. Using MicroPython on the S3 chip makes prototyping the dog's behavior incredibly fast. Highly recommended for embedded learners.

A: The Wi-Fi range depends on your router environment, typically 10-20 meters indoors. The Xiaozhi AI features require an active internet connection to process voice commands via the cloud.
Q: Does this kit come with a battery included?
A: No, the kit does not include a battery. It supports a standard 3.7V Li-ion battery which needs to be purchased separately, or it can be powered directly via the Type-C USB cable.
