Best in class for BLE development
Coming from an ESP32 background, the Bluetooth Low Energy performance on this Nordic chip is superior. Connection stability is rock solid, and the memory size allows for complex firmware logic.

Perfect for IoT Prototyping
This board is incredibly versatile. I successfully flashed it with CircuitPython and got the Bluetooth advertising working within an hour. The native USB support makes debugging much easier compared to older boards.

Solid choice for student projects
We used these in our university robotics lab. Students found the wireless capabilities easy to implement. The only downside is that the onboard LED is a bit dim, but that's a very minor complaint.

Excellent value for money
I bought three of these for a home automation project. The range on the 2.4G connection is impressive, and the power consumption is low enough for battery-operated sensors. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Great hardware, minor documentation gaps
The NRF52840 chip is powerful and the build quality is solid. However, finding specific pinout diagrams for the ZigBee implementation took some digging in community forums. Once set up, it runs flawlessly.

Seamless Arduino Integration
Flashed the bootloader easily and recognized immediately by the Arduino IDE. The processing speed is noticeable when handling multiple sensor inputs simultaneously. No stability issues after a week of continuous testing.
Q: Does this board come with a pre-installed bootloader?
A: Yes, it comes with a UF2 bootloader pre-installed, allowing you to drag and drop firmware files just like a USB drive.
Q: What is the maximum current draw per GPIO pin?
A: Each GPIO pin can source or sink up to 15mA. Please note that the total current for all ports combined should not exceed the limits specified in the Nordic datasheet.
Q: Does it support over-the-air (OTA) updates?
A: Yes, the board supports OTA updates when using compatible bootloaders and firmware stacks like Adafruit nRF52 Bootloader or MCUboot.
Q: Is this compatible with the Zephyr Project RTOS?
