Good power efficiency
Running a motor control algorithm, the board stays cool and consumes less power than expected. The only downside is the lack of an onboard voltage regulator for higher input voltages, so plan your power supply accordingly.

Best bang for your buck
As a university student, budget is tight. This board offers high-end features like USB OTG and CAN bus at a fraction of the cost of other development kits. It arrived quickly and well-packaged.

Excellent documentation support
Finding example code and libraries for the F103ZET6 is very easy. This board paired well with CubeMX and Keil IDE. Bootloader configuration was straightforward.

Reliable for industrial prototyping
We used several of these for initial prototyping of a control system. They handled complex PWM signals and ADC readings without any stability issues. Very robust for the price.

Perfect for learning ARM architecture
This board is exactly what I needed to transition from Arduino to STM32. The pinout is clearly labeled, and it works flawlessly with the ST-Link debugger. Highly recommended for students.

Great value, minor soldering needed
The core board functions perfectly out of the box. I had to solder my own header pins for some specific projects, but that is expected for this form factor. The 512KB flash is a huge plus.
