Great Hardware, Steep Learning Curve
Hardware quality is top-notch and the sensors are accurate. However, beginners might find the initial configuration challenging if they aren't familiar with Linux environments. Documentation could be more detailed.

Perfect for Advanced ROS2 Projects
The computing power on this board is incredible. Setting up ROS2 was straightforward, and the 10 TOPS NPU handles object detection models smoothly without lag. Great value for robotics research.

Solid Performance, Runs Warm
Performance is exactly as advertised. My only note is that the processor gets quite warm under heavy load, so ensure good ventilation or use the active cooling fan included in the kit.
Q: What programming languages are supported for the AI models?
A: You can develop using Python and C++. We provide SDKs and pre-compiled libraries for TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch, and ONNX to facilitate easy deployment of deep learning models.
Q: Is this board compatible with ROS1 or only ROS2?
A: The Digipai RDK X5 is optimized for ROS2 (Foxy and later versions). While it is possible to containerize ROS1, we strongly recommend using ROS2 to leverage the full capabilities of the hardware and AI accelerators.
Q: Does the package include the vision sensors or do I need to buy them separately?
A: The standard kit includes a depth camera and a wide-angle RGB camera pre-calibrated for the board. Additional specialized sensors can be purchased separately from our accessories store.
Q: Can I replace the battery with a higher capacity one?
A: Yes, the power management system supports various Li-ion battery configurations. Please ensure the voltage remains at 12V and check our wiki for recommended BMS modules to avoid safety issues.
Q: How long does shipping take from the multi-warehouse option?
A: Shipping times vary by location. Domestic orders typically arrive within 2-3 business days. International shipments from our regional hubs usually take 5-7 business days, depending on customs clearance.
