Great hardware, documentation could be better
The ESP32-S3 chip handles the AI processing very well, and the 8MB PSRAM is a lifesaver for larger models. I deducted one star because the English documentation for the specific Doubao robot integration was a bit sparse, but the community forums helped.

Excellent value for money
For the price, you get an amazing amount of power. The voice generation latency is low, making conversations feel natural. I used this to build a small desktop assistant, and it performs better than expected.

Perfect for AI Voice Projects
This board is incredibly easy to set up for voice generation tasks. The integration with the Xiaozhi AI model worked flawlessly out of the box. The 1.28-inch screen is crisp and bright enough for status indicators.

Solid performance, runs warm
The board handles continuous voice processing without crashing. It does get slightly warm during extended use under heavy load, so I added a small heatsink. Otherwise, the build quality is excellent.

A: No, the board comes with 16MB of onboard flash memory. It does not include an external SD card slot or a pre-installed SD card, but the internal storage is sufficient for most AI voice applications.
Q: Does it support over-the-air (OTA) updates?
A: Yes, the board supports OTA updates. You can implement OTA functionality using the Arduino IDE or ESP-IDF frameworks to update your firmware wirelessly via Wi-Fi.
