Great hardware, documentation could be better
The board itself is high quality with solid soldering and good component layout. However, finding specific examples for the U5 series TrustZone features took some digging. Once set up, it runs flawlessly.

Perfect for learning advanced ARM concepts
As a student moving beyond basic 51 MCU projects, this kit is perfect. It handles complex RTOS tasks easily and the onboard debugger saves me from buying extra hardware.

Solid performance, runs cool
Even under heavy computational load, the board stays cool without needing a heatsink. The only minor issue is that the USB-C cable included felt a bit flimsy, but the board works great with any standard cable.

Excellent upgrade from F103
The STM32U575 offers a massive leap in performance and power efficiency compared to the older F103 boards I used to use. The low-power modes are incredibly effective for my battery-operated sensor projects.

Compared to other evaluation kits on the market, this offers the best price-to-performance ratio. The Arduino-compatible headers make it easy to stack shields for rapid testing.

Robust connectivity options
I appreciate the inclusion of CAN FD and multiple UARTs. It made integrating this board into an industrial control prototype much smoother than expected. Highly recommended for prototyping.

A: Yes, the downloadable resource package linked in the user manual includes several example projects demonstrating how to configure and use the Arm TrustZone security extensions on the U5 series.
Q: Is the ST-Link debugger built-in or do I need an external one?
A: The board comes with an integrated ST-Link/V3E debugger, so you do not need to purchase an external programmer. You can connect directly via the USB Type-C port for programming and debugging.
Q: What is the maximum clock speed of the CPU?
A: The STM32U575 on this board can run at a maximum clock frequency of 160 MHz, providing excellent performance for real-time signal processing and complex control algorithms.
Q: Can this board operate at 5V logic levels?
A: No, the STM32U575 microcontroller operates at 3.3V logic levels. While the board has a 5V input pin for power supply, the GPIO pins are not 5V tolerant. Use a level shifter if connecting to 5V sensors.
