Robust and Reliable
We deployed three of these in our test lab for evaluating slave devices. They have run continuously for months without issues. The error LED indicators are very helpful for debugging network topology problems.

Good starter kit for SOEM

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is excellent, and the STM32H7 option provides plenty of processing power. However, be prepared to read the documentation thoroughly if you are new to EtherCAT. Once configured, the cycle times are impressive.
