Reliable for prototyping
We used these for rapid prototyping of a smart sensor node. They are stable and the power consumption is reasonable in deep sleep mode. Would buy again.

Perfect for IoT projects
This board works flawlessly with the Arduino IDE. The dual-core processing power handles Wi-Fi and sensor data simultaneously without lag. Great value for money.

Great for beginners
As someone new to embedded systems, this board was easy to set up. Plenty of tutorials available online. The built-in USB-to-serial converter saves needing extra hardware.

Best bang for your buck
You simply cannot beat the features offered at this price point. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual core, and plenty of IO. It arrived quickly and was well packaged.

Excellent Bluetooth range
I was surprised by the Bluetooth range compared to older modules. It maintained a stable connection across my entire workshop. Highly recommended for robotics.

Good board, minor documentation issues
Hardware is solid and connects easily to my home network. The only downside is that the pinout diagram on the back is a bit small, but online resources fill the gap.

A: Yes, this ESP32 board is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE. You just need to install the ESP32 board manager package.
Q: Does it support external antennas?
A: This specific model uses an onboard PCB antenna. It does not have a connector for an external antenna.
Q: Is MicroPython supported on this module?
A: Absolutely. The ESP32 chip supports MicroPython, CircuitPython, and ESP-IDF natively.
Q: Can I power this via the VIN pin instead of USB?
A: Yes, you can power the board via the VIN pin with a 5V DC source. Ensure the polarity is correct to avoid damage.
