Perfect for IoT prototypes
This board works flawlessly out of the box. The included flashing clip is a genius addition that saves so much time when uploading code without needing to press the boot button manually. WiFi connection is stable and the dual-core performance handles my sensor data logging easily.

Beginner friendly
As someone new to embedded systems, this kit was perfect. The flashing clip makes the initial setup much less frustrating than other boards I tried. Plenty of tutorials online work directly with this hardware configuration. Highly recommended for learning.

Solid performance, runs warm
The processing power is great for running complex logic and WiFi simultaneously. I noticed it gets slightly warm when using WiFi continuously at high transmission power, but nothing concerning. The build quality feels robust and the soldering points are clean.

Great value but USB chip varies
Excellent board for the price. I received the version with the CH340 driver which installed quickly on Windows 10. Just be aware you might get CH340 or CP2102 randomly, so have both drivers ready. The pinout is standard and fits perfectly into breadboards.

Reliable for Home Automation
I bought five of these for my smart home project. All of them connected to my MQTT broker immediately. The Bluetooth range is surprisingly good for such a small module. Technical support was also very responsive when I had a question about deep sleep modes.

Exceeded expectations
Fast shipping and well packaged. The board recognizes instantly in the Arduino IDE. I am using it to log temperature and humidity data to an SD card while syncing to the cloud, and it handles the multitasking without any lag. The 4MB flash is sufficient for most projects.
Q: How do I know which USB driver (CH340 or CP2102) I need to install?
A: The specific chip is selected randomly during packaging. We recommend installing both drivers beforehand. If the device is not recognized, try switching drivers. The physical chip on your board will be labeled either 'CH340' or 'CP2102' near the USB port.
Q: Does this come with a case or enclosure?
A: No, this package includes only the development board and the flashing clip. Enclosures are sold separately. Please check our accessories section for 3D printable files or plastic cases that fit the 55mm x 28mm dimensions.
Q: Does this board support 5GHz WiFi networks?
A: No, the ESP32 chip on this board only supports 2.4GHz WiFi networks (802.11 b/g/n). It does not support 5GHz bands.
Q: Can I power this board directly with a 3.7V Li-Ion battery?
A: While the ESP32 operates at 3.3V, we recommend using the 5V input pin with a regulator or a dedicated battery management module. Directly connecting a Li-Ion battery to the 5V pin may not provide stable voltage as the battery drains, and connecting to the 3.3V pin can damage the board if the battery voltage exceeds 3.6V.
Q: Is the flashing clip compatible with other ESP32 boards?
A: The included clip is specifically designed for the pin layout of this ESP32 Development Board. While it might physically fit other boards with similar 2.54mm pitch headers, electrical compatibility is not guaranteed for non-standard pinouts.
