Perfect for STEM projects
My son loves building robots with this kit. The expansion board connects seamlessly to the micro:bit V2 and the motor control is very smooth. Highly recommended for beginners.

Classroom favorite
Bought 10 for my class. Students find it easy to use with Python. The Grove ports make adding sensors very plug-and-play. Great value for education.

Missing battery holder
Board works fine but box was missing the battery holder cable. Had to contact support to get a replacement. Product itself is good though.

Great board, tricky setup
Hardware is solid and feels durable. The software documentation could be a bit clearer for absolute beginners, but once you get it working, it is fantastic.

Python support is smooth
Easy to upload code via USB. The motor drivers are strong enough for small robots. Very happy with the purchase and the build quality.
Q: Are batteries included in the kit?
A: No, batteries are not included. You will need to purchase AA batteries separately for the robot chassis.
Q: What is the warranty period for this board?
A: We offer a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. Please contact us if you experience any issues.
Q: Do I need a specific IDE to program this?
A: You can use the online MakeCode editor or any Python IDE that supports micro:bit, such as Mu Editor or Thonny.
Q: Does this work with the original micro:bit V1?
A: This expansion board is specifically designed for the micro:bit V2.0 and V2.2 due to pinout differences. It is not compatible with V1.
Q: What is the maximum voltage for the motors?
A: The motor ports support up to 5V DC. Please ensure your motors match this specification to avoid damage.
