Upgrade from V1 is Worth It
The increased memory and processing power are noticeable. Being able to play sounds without an external buzzer simplifies wiring for beginners.

Excellent Documentation
Started from zero knowledge. The online resources and community support for micro:bit are unmatched. Hardware is robust.

Good Value Kit
The expansion board included helps with connecting sensors. Wish it came with a few more jumper wires, but overall a solid kit for learning.

Great Board, Needs Battery Pack
The board itself is fantastic and easy to code. Just note that the USB cable is included but batteries for portable projects are sold separately. Still recommend.

Perfect for STEM Classes
We bought these for our middle school robotics club. The V2 upgrade with the speaker and microphone makes projects much more interactive. Python support is seamless.
Q: Can I power this with AAA batteries?
A: Yes, using a separate battery pack connected to the edge connector or JST connector.
Q: Does this work with MakeCode?
A: Yes, fully compatible with Microsoft MakeCode, Python, and JavaScript.
Q: Is the USB cable included?
A: Yes, a Micro-USB data cable is included in the kit for programming and power.
Q: Does it support Wi-Fi?
A: No, it features Bluetooth Low Energy. Wi-Fi requires an external module.
Q: Can I connect motors directly?
