Value for money is great. Had to adjust the threshold a few times to get accurate readings for my specific soil type.

Works but corrodes
Functionality is fine, but the probes show signs of rust after being left in soil for too long. Consider coating them.

Perfect for my Arduino project

Reliable for automation
Integrated this into my drip system. No issues so far after 2 months of continuous use. Highly recommend for DIY setups.
Q: Do I need a specific Arduino library?
A: No specific library is needed. You can simply read the digital pin state using standard digitalRead functions.
Q: Does it output analog values?
A: This module provides a digital switch output. For analog readings, please check our capacitive sensor series.
Q: How far apart are the probe pins?
A: The spacing between the probe pins is standard at approximately 15mm apart.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V logic boards?
A: Yes, it supports 3.3V to 5V input voltage, so it is compatible with 3.3V logic boards.
Q: Is the probe waterproof?
A: The probe is water-resistant for soil insertion, but the PCB board should not be submerged in water.
