Reliable detection
Used it for my automatic window closer system. Very responsive to water droplets. Has survived a few storms so far.

Good sensitivity
Easy to calibrate using the potentiometer. Wish the connecting cables were a bit longer for my enclosure, but otherwise solid.

Great for Arduino projects
Works perfectly with my Uno. Detected rain instantly during testing. Very easy to integrate into my weather station setup.

A: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP8266 are all compatible and commonly used with this sensor.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: Use the blue potentiometer located on the back of the module to tune the detection threshold.
Q: Is this compatible with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, it operates between 3.3V and 5V DC, making it safe for most 3.3V microcontrollers.
Q: Does it give analog or digital output?
A: This specific module provides a digital switch output. There is an analog version available separately.
Q: Can it stay outdoors permanently?
A: The PCB is coated, but prolonged exposure to elements may cause corrosion. We recommend housing it.
