Great sound, needs minor setup
The tonal quality is fantastic with rich bass and crisp trebles. I did need to adjust the truss rod slightly to lower the action to my personal preference, but that is common with handcrafted instruments. Once set up, it plays beautifully.

Professional quality
I use this as my travel guitar for gigs, and it holds its own against my main luthier-built instrument. The intonation is accurate up to the 12th fret, and the ebony fingerboard feels smooth and fast.

Exceptional resonance for the price point
I have been playing classical guitar for over 15 years, and this Famosa model punches well above its weight class. The solid spruce top provides a bright, clear attack, while the rosewood back adds a warm, complex sustain. The action was set perfectly out of the box.

Perfect upgrade from student models
Moving from a laminate guitar to this all-solid body was a revelation. The volume and projection are incredible. It responds very well to dynamic changes, allowing for much more expressive playing.

Lovely tone, heavy case included
The guitar itself is a 5-star product with amazing clarity. The only reason for 4 stars is that the included hard case is quite heavy, which matters if you are commuting daily. However, the protection it offers is top-notch.
