Great quality for the price
The brushes feel premium in hand. The bamboo handle is smooth and balanced. I use them mostly for Xingshu, and they respond very well to pressure changes. One star off only because the largest brush shed a few hairs initially.

Perfect for starting my calligraphy journey

A: Rinse gently with cool water until the water runs clear, reshape the tip with your fingers, and hang them upside down or lay them flat to dry. Avoid storing them standing on their bristles to prevent deformation.
Q: What kind of ink works best with these wolf hair blends?
A: These brushes work excellently with standard liquid sumi ink or ink sticks ground on an inkstone. The mixed hair texture handles varying ink viscosities very well.
