Great quality but pricey
These nipples are definitely high quality and my son loves them. They are a bit expensive compared to other brands, but the wide neck makes cleaning easy.

Good but specific fit
The nipple itself is great, but make sure you have the specific Hegen wide neck bottles. They do not fit our other brand bottles due to the unique threading.

No more gas issues
Since switching to these smart nipples, our baby has had significantly less gas and fussiness after feeding. The flow control seems to work very well.

Best investment for feeding
Our lactation consultant recommended these, and they were a game changer. The simulation aspect is not just marketing; it genuinely feels different from standard nipples.

Durable and soft
We have sterilized these multiple times and they still look brand new. The texture is very gentle on the baby's gums. Highly recommend for newborns.

Perfect for breastfeeding moms
The off-center design really helps mimic natural breastfeeding. My baby switched between breast and bottle without any confusion. The silicone is incredibly soft.
Q: What is the recommended age range for the Stage 1 slow flow nipple?
A: Stage 1 is generally recommended for newborns from birth up to approximately 3 months, depending on your baby's individual feeding pace and preference.
Q: Can I boil these nipples for sterilization?
A: Yes, the ultra-soft silicone is heat-resistant and safe for boiling, steam sterilizing, and dishwasher cleaning. Please follow the instructions on the packaging for best results.
Q: How often should I replace these nipples?
A: We recommend inspecting the nipples before every use and replacing them every 2 to 3 months, or immediately if you notice any signs of wear, tearing, or discoloration.
Q: Does the off-center design help with colic?
A: While not a medical cure, the off-center design encourages a more natural latch and upright feeding position, which can help reduce air intake and potentially alleviate colic symptoms associated with gas.
Q: Are these nipples compatible with other wide neck bottle brands?
A: No, Hegen nipples are designed specifically with a unique threading system that only fits Hegen wide neck bottles to ensure a leak-proof seal.
