Great sound, minor cosmetic flaw
The tone is rich and balanced, very similar to the original Taylor models it mimics. I deducted one star because there was a tiny scratch on the headstock upon arrival, but it doesn't affect playability at all.

Solid construction
Very sturdy build quality. The gloss finish looks professional under stage lights. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the included strings were a bit stiff, but swapping them fixed that immediately.

Perfect for folk and fingerstyle
The separation of notes in fingerstyle patterns is crystal clear. The bass response is tight without being boomy. This guitar has become my daily driver for practice and small gigs.

Smooth ebony fretboard
The ebony fretboard feels premium and allows for fast playing. Intonation is spot on all the way up the neck. It stays in tune well even after aggressive strumming sessions.

Best beginner-to-intermediate upgrade
Upgraded from a laminate dreadnought to this Grand Auditorium shape. The comfort level is amazing, and the electronics plug directly into my interface without any noise. Highly recommended for singer-songwriters.
