Excellent craftsmanship
The attention to detail on the binding and inlay work is superb. It feels slightly heavier than my spruce-top guitar, which is expected with koa, but the balance is still comfortable.

My dream guitar

Worth every penny
I have played many high-end acoustics, and this Feiqinxing Taylor model stands out. The ES2 electronics sound natural when plugged in, requiring very little EQ adjustment during live gigs.

Great projection, needs break-in
Beautiful instrument with incredible volume. The highs were a bit sharp initially, but after a few weeks of playing, the tone has warmed up significantly. Very happy with the purchase.

Stunning Visuals and Rich Tone
The koa grain on this guitar is absolutely breathtaking. Beyond the looks, the mid-range punch is perfect for fingerstyle playing. It arrived perfectly set up right out of the case.

A: It comes strung with Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nanowire Light gauge strings (12-53).
Q: Does the ES2 system require a battery?
A: Yes, the Taylor Expression System 2 requires a 9V battery, which is accessible through the soundhole for easy replacement.
Q: Is the neck profile suitable for smaller hands?
A: The neck features a standard Taylor profile which is generally comfortable for most hand sizes. The 1.75-inch nut width provides ample spacing for fingerpicking.
