Solid top makes all the difference

Upgraded from a fully laminate beginner guitar and the difference is night and day. The spruce top resonates much better and the volume is impressive. The built-in tuner is also a very convenient feature.

Incredible value for the price

I have been playing for ten years and needed a reliable beater guitar for camping trips. This Yamaha sounds better than some guitars twice its price. The electronics are clear and noise-free when plugged in.

Great sound, minor setup needed

The tone is warm and rich right out of the box. I did have to lower the action slightly at the bridge to make barre chords easier, but that is standard for most factory guitars. Highly recommend for beginners and intermediates.

Reliable workhorse

Using this for weekly open mic nights. It handles the stage environment well and the pickup system captures the natural acoustic tone accurately. Only wish the gig bag had a bit more padding, but overall excellent.
