Perfect for my self-balancing robot
This module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The I2C communication is stable, and the data from both the accelerometer and gyroscope is consistent. Great value for DIY robotics projects.

Great for learning sensors
Bought this for a university project. Documentation online is plentiful. Only giving 4 stars because the interrupt pin documentation could be clearer on the silkscreen.

Good sensor, needs calibration
The hardware quality is solid. Just remember that you need to calibrate the offsets in your code to get precise readings. Once calibrated, it tracks motion very accurately.

Fast shipping and works great
Arrived quickly and was well-packaged. Tested immediately with the standard MPU6050 library example, and it worked out of the box. No issues whatsoever.

Reliable for flight controllers
Using this as a backup IMU on a custom drone frame. The noise levels are low enough for basic stabilization tasks. Highly recommend for hobbyist aviation projects.

Excellent build quality
Soldering points are clear, and the board feels durable. It came pre-soldered with headers which saved me time. Libraries for this are abundant and easy to use.
Q: Are the header pins included in the package?
A: Yes, the module comes with male header pins already soldered on, so it is ready to plug directly into a breadboard.
Q: What is the default I2C address for this sensor?
A: The default I2C address is 0x68 when the AD0 pin is connected to GND. If AD0 is connected to VCC, the address changes to 0x69.
Q: Does this come with example code or libraries?
A: The module itself does not include physical media, but it is fully compatible with the popular 'MPU6050' library by Electronic Cats available in the Arduino Library Manager.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V Arduino boards like the Uno?
A: Yes, the module includes a voltage regulator and level shifting, making it safe to use with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers like the Arduino Uno.
Q: Can I use this to measure tilt angles accurately?
A: Yes, by combining data from both the accelerometer and gyroscope using a filter algorithm (like Complementary or Kalman filter), you can achieve accurate tilt angle measurements.
