Good quality, slightly tight lid
The box itself is great and holds up well against the elements. The only minor issue is that the lid fits very tightly at first, but it loosened up after a few uses. Overall, a solid product.

Solved my muddy valve problem
Every time it rained, my valve box filled with mud. This 6-inch box keeps everything clean and dry. The lid snaps on securely so it doesn't float away during heavy storms.

Durable and easy to install
I've installed about ten of these for a client's residential project. They stack nicely if you need extra depth, and the polypropylene material hasn't cracked despite some heavy foot traffic nearby.

Decent for light use
It works fine for residential garden irrigation as described. However, do not use this where vehicles might drive over it; it is strictly for light-duty applications. Good value for the price though.

Blends in beautifully
I was worried the green would look fake, but it matches my lawn color surprisingly well. It protects my shut-off valve from dirt and debris effectively. Highly recommend for home gardens.
Q: Can I drive a lawnmower over this box without damaging it?
A: Yes, it is rated for light-duty traffic such as pedestrians and lawnmowers. However, it is not rated for vehicular traffic like cars or trucks.
Q: Can this box be stacked if I need more depth for my valve?
A: Yes, this valve box is designed to be stackable. You can combine multiple units to achieve the necessary depth for your specific installation requirements.
Q: Does this come with screws to secure the lid?
A: No, the lid is designed to snap securely into place without the need for screws. This allows for quick and tool-free access when you need to adjust your water flow.
Q: What size valves fit inside this 6-inch box?
A: This box is ideal for standard 1-inch irrigation valves and take-off assemblies. It provides ample room for manual operation and maintenance.
Q: Is the green lid UV resistant so it won't fade in the sun?
A: Absolutely. The lid and the box are manufactured with UV-inhibited polypropylene to prevent fading and brittleness caused by prolonged sun exposure.
