Solid industrial grade sensor

Good build quality and accurate readings compared to our handheld calibrator. The only minor issue was the wiring diagram could be clearer, but support helped us out quickly.

Q: Can this be powered by PoE?

A: No, this device requires a separate 12V DC or 24V DC power supply. It does not have built-in Power over Ethernet capability.

Q: Does this sensor support Modbus TCP directly?

A: No, this model supports Modbus RTU over RS485. To connect to a TCP network, you will need an RS485 to Ethernet converter gateway.

Q: What is the default baud rate for communication?

A: The default baud rate is 9600 bps, but it can be configured to 2400, 4800, 19200, 38400, or 115200 bps using our configuration software.

Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if readings seem off?

A: The unit comes factory calibrated. If adjustment is needed, please contact our support team for the calibration tool and instructions, as improper calibration may void the warranty.

Q: Is the LCD backlight always on?

A: The backlight is always on by default to ensure visibility in dark server rooms. However, some firmware versions allow setting a timeout to save energy.
