Good value for the price
Compared to other brands, this offers great specs for the money. The build quality feels sturdy. Only minor issue is the fan connector felt slightly loose, but it holds fine.

Solved my overheating sensor issue
My infrared sensor was getting too hot during long exposures. This plate cooled it down instantly and maintained the set point perfectly. Easy to install and configure.

Reliable industrial grade component
We purchased several units for our small assembly line testing rigs. They have been running 24/7 for three months without any failures. Very consistent temperature maintenance.
Q: What is the maximum temperature difference this can achieve?
A: Under optimal conditions with proper heatsinking on the hot side, the module can achieve a temperature difference (Delta T) of approximately 60°C to 65°C below ambient temperature.
Q: Does this unit come with a power supply included?
A: No, the TCB-NE-AH module does not include a power supply. You will need to provide a compatible 12V or 24V DC power source with sufficient amperage for your specific load.
Q: Is a heatsink and fan required for operation?
A: Yes, absolutely. A sufficiently sized heatsink and active cooling fan are mandatory for the hot side of the TEC module. Without them, the unit will overheat and shut down or sustain damage.
Q: Can I control this via a computer interface?
A: This specific model features onboard manual control via buttons and an LED display. It does not have built-in USB or RS485 connectivity for PC software control.
Q: Does it have reverse polarity protection?
A: Yes, the board includes basic reverse polarity protection to prevent damage if the power leads are accidentally swapped, though we always recommend double-checking connections before powering on.
