Excellent for Zentangle patterns
The precision of the 0.5mm tip allows for very intricate patterns. The ink is truly waterproof; I tested it with a watercolor wash and it didn't smudge at all.

Student essential
Bought these for my design class. They handle different paper textures well and don't skip. The cap keeps them from drying out even if I forget to close them immediately.

Great quality, wish there were more colors
The black ink is deep and waterproof as advertised. I use them for my bullet journal. Only giving 4 stars because I wish this specific pack included colored options.

Best fineliners on the market
I have tried many brands, but Sakura Microns remain my favorite. The ink flows smoothly and dries instantly. Great for detailed architectural drawings too.

Reliable workhorse
Very reliable pens for daily sketching. One pen in my set had a slightly scratchy tip, but the other eleven were perfect. Overall great value for the price.
Q: What is the difference between 0.5mm and 0.3mm tips?
A: The 0.5mm tip provides a bolder line ideal for general outlining and manga work, while the 0.3mm tip offers a finer line suited for extreme detail and hatching.
Q: Can I refill these pens once the ink runs out?
A: No, Sakura Pigma Micron pens are designed as disposable units and cannot be refilled. However, their long-lasting ink ensures a lengthy lifespan for each pen.
Q: Do these bleed through standard printer paper?
A: Generally, no. The pigment ink is formulated to minimize bleed-through. However, results may vary depending on the specific thickness and quality of the paper used.
Q: Are these pens safe to use on photo paper?
A: Yes, these pens are acid-free and archival quality, making them safe for use on photo paper and other sensitive surfaces without causing damage over time.
Q: Are these pens suitable for left-handed users?
A: Absolutely. The quick-drying formula prevents smudging, which is particularly beneficial for left-handed artists who drag their hand across the page while writing or drawing.
