Good for most teas
Works great for black and green teas. If you use very fine herbal blends, a tiny bit might get through, but it's negligible. The handle makes it very easy to lift out without burning fingers.

Sturdy and easy to clean
Great build quality. It feels heavy and durable. I use it for both tea and spice bags when making broth. Cleaning is a breeze; just rinse under water. Took off one star because the handle is slightly shorter than I expected.

No more loose leaves!
I was tired of fishing leaves out of my cup. This strainer works flawlessly. The latch mechanism is secure and hasn't popped open accidentally. Highly recommend for any loose leaf tea lover.

Simple and effective
Does exactly what it says on the tin. No fancy gadgets, just a solid, well-made tea ball. I appreciate that it is dishwasher safe as I often forget to hand wash kitchen tools.

Excellent value
For the price, you cannot beat this. It looks sleek on my counter and functions better than some expensive brands I've tried. The stainless steel doesn't retain odors or flavors from previous brews.

Perfect size for my morning brew
This tea ball is exactly what I needed. The 4.5cm size fits perfectly in my standard mug, and the handle stays cool enough to touch even after steeping. The holes are fine enough that no leaf dust escapes into my cup.
Q: Can I use this for making spice bags for soup?
A: Yes, absolutely! Many customers use this strainer for holding whole spices like peppercorns, cloves, and bay leaves while simmering soups and stews. Just rinse thoroughly after use.
Q: How do I open and close the ball?
A: The ball features a simple spring-loaded clasp. You pull the two halves apart gently to open, fill with tea, and press them together until you hear a click to secure it.
Q: Is the handle made of plastic or metal?
A: The entire unit, including the handle, is made from a single piece of 304 stainless steel. There are no plastic parts, ensuring durability and heat resistance.
Q: Does this come with a drip tray?
A: No, this package includes only the stainless steel tea ball strainer. We recommend placing it on a small saucer or spoon rest after removal to catch any drips.
Q: Will this fit in a narrow travel mug?
A: With a diameter of 4.5cm, it fits most standard mugs and many travel mugs. However, please measure the inner diameter of your specific travel mug to ensure compatibility before purchasing.
