Great for mid-distance play
The Skybow 3 is a fantastic rubber for developing players. It's not as fast as the 5, which gives me more time to set up my shots. The sponge feels soft but responsive. I took off one star because it takes a few sessions to break in the tackiness fully.

Perfect balance of spin and speed
I switched from a European tensor rubber to the Skybow 5 and immediately noticed the difference. The tacky surface grabs the ball incredibly well for short game pushes, while the internal energy sponge provides a nice catapult effect on loops. Highly recommended for players who want control without sacrificing power.

Tackiness lasts longer than expected
Usually, tacky rubbers lose their grip after a month, but the Skybow series holds up well. I've been using the same sheet for three months of regular play, and it still generates immense spin. The cake sponge structure adds a unique feel that isn't too hard.

Excellent for serving and receiving
The short game on this rubber is phenomenal. Because of the tacky top sheet, I can impart heavy backspin on serves that barely bounce over the net. The transition to offensive looping is smooth thanks to the energetic sponge layer underneath.

Best value for money in the DHS line
I recommend this series to all my students. The quality control is consistent, and the internal energy technology really does make a difference compared to older DHS sponges. It produces heavy arcs that are difficult for opponents to block.

Good upgrade from stock rubber
As someone moving away from the rubber that came with my beginner paddle, this was a huge upgrade. The Skybow 3 helps me keep the ball on the table during aggressive shots. It might be a bit too slow for advanced smashers, but perfect for my level.
