Good driver, instructions could be better
The hardware is solid and performs well. However, the printed manual is a bit sparse. I had to look up a pinout diagram online to confirm my wiring, but once connected, it works great.

Great value, runs a bit warm
Works perfectly with my NEMA 23 motors. It does get warm under heavy load, but the included fan keeps it within safe limits. Excellent price point for the features offered.
Q: Is this compatible with Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, the TB6600 is fully compatible with Arduino Uno. You just need to connect the STEP, DIR, and EN pins to your digital output pins and ensure common grounding.
Q: Can this driver handle a 48V power supply?
A: No, the maximum recommended input voltage is 42V DC. Using a 48V supply may damage the internal components and void the warranty.
Q: Can I daisy chain multiple drivers from one controller?
A: Yes, you can connect the STEP and DIR signals from one controller to multiple TB6600 drivers in parallel to synchronize several motors, provided your controller can source enough current for the input signals.
Q: How do I set the current limit to 2.5A?
A: Use a small screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer labeled 'Current' on the board. We recommend using a multimeter to measure the Vref voltage while adjusting to match the specific calculation for 2.5A based on the sense resistor value.
