Perfect exotic accent for my kit
These Seagull cymbals have an incredible trashy sound that cuts through the mix perfectly. The 15cm size is my favorite for quick accents in fusion tracks.

Authentic Beijing sound
If you are looking for that specific Chinese gong-like crash, this is it. The decay is complex and musical. Highly recommended for world music setups.

Great value for bronze
Really happy with the build quality. They look beautiful with the hand-hammered finish. The sound is very distinct compared to standard western splash cymbals.

Solid addition to effects stack
I use the 12cm as part of my effects stack. It provides a quick, sharp chop that works well in electronic-infused drumming.

Louder than expected
The sound is great, but be warned, these are quite loud for their size. Not ideal for quiet practice sessions without dampening.
Q: Is the 17cm version suitable for heavy rock music?
A: Yes, the 17cm model has enough volume and presence to cut through heavier mixes, offering a distinctive trashy crash rather than a clean wash.
Q: Are these made of brass or bronze?
A: As stated in the product title, these are made from Resonant Bronze alloy, which generally offers superior tonal complexity and durability compared to brass.
Q: Do these cymbals come with a mounting felt or clutch?
A: No, these cymbals are sold individually without hardware accessories. You will need to use your existing stand felts and clutches.
Q: What is the difference between these and standard splash cymbals?
A: These Beijing-style cymbals feature a different hammering technique and alloy blend, resulting in a darker, more complex, and 'gong-like' tone compared to the bright, clean ping of standard splashes.
Q: Can I mount this on a regular cymbal stand?
A: Absolutely. They feature a standard center hole compatible with any regular cymbal stand used for drums.
