Excellent for traditional music
These are essential for our folk music ensemble. The tonal quality is rich and complex, very different from standard drum kit cymbals. Highly recommended for authentic sounds.

Perfect for our marching band
We bought a pair of the 18-inch military cymbals for our high school band. The projection is incredible, and they cut through the sound of the brass section perfectly. Very durable construction.

Solid choice for the price
I was skeptical about the price point compared to major western brands, but these hold their own. The wash is controlled, and they don't get too washy even when played loudly.

Authentic traditional sound
As an orchestral percussionist, I needed something with that classic gong-like crash. These deliver exactly that. The hand-hammered finish isn't just cosmetic; you can hear the complexity in the tone.

Great resonance, slightly heavy
The sound quality is fantastic with a long sustain. My only note is that they are a bit heavier than modern jazz cymbals, which is expected for this traditional style. Excellent value.

Beautiful craftsmanship
Not only do they sound amazing, but they look stunning on stage. The copper finish shines under the lights. We use them for cultural dance performances and they are perfect.
Q: What is the difference between the Water Cymbals and Military Cymbals?
A: Military cymbals are typically larger and heavier, designed for loud, cutting crashes in marching bands. Water cymbals are generally smaller and thinner, producing a quicker, splashier decay suitable for delicate accents.
Q: Do these cymbals come with straps or stands?
A: The cymbals are sold individually or in pairs depending on the selection. They include a center hole for mounting but do not come with stands. Traditional leather straps are available as a separate accessory.
Q: How should I clean these to maintain the finish?
A: We recommend wiping them with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove fingerprints and moisture. Avoid harsh chemical polishes as they can damage the traditional patina and alter the sound characteristics.
Q: Can I use these on a standard drum kit?
A: Yes, you can mount them on a standard drum kit using a regular cymbal stand, provided the stand can support the weight. However, they are voiced differently than typical ride or crash cymbals found in rock or jazz kits.
Q: Are these made of bronze or brass?
A: These are crafted from a professional resonant copper alloy, which is a type of bronze specifically formulated for traditional Chinese percussion instruments, offering a warmer and more complex tone than standard brass.
