Easy to install
I am not an expert in electronics, but the color-coded wires made connection simple. The enclosure keeps the sensor safe from dust in my workshop.

Good value, accurate readings
Compared it against a professional hygrometer and the readings were within 2%. The plastic case feels durable enough for indoor use. Would prefer soldered terminals instead of loose wires though.

Exactly what I needed

Reliable industrial sensor

Solid performance

Perfect for my greenhouse project
The enclosure is sturdy and the wires are long enough to reach my controller easily. The 0-5V output integrates perfectly with my Arduino setup without needing extra converters.
Q: Can this module be used directly with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: The module requires a 5V power supply to operate correctly. While the output is 0-5V, you may need a voltage divider or an op-amp circuit if your microcontroller's ADC cannot handle 5V inputs safely.
Q: Is the enclosure waterproof for outdoor rain exposure?
A: The enclosure has an IP65 rating, which means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use under a small overhang but should not be fully submerged or exposed to high-pressure washing.
Q: Does this support digital communication like I2C or UART?
A: No, the WHTM-03 model specifically provides an analog 0-5V voltage output only. If you require digital protocols like I2C or UART, please check our WHTM-Digital series products.
Q: How often does the sensor need calibration?
A: The sensor comes factory-calibrated. For most applications, annual verification is sufficient. If used in extreme environments with constant high humidity or contaminants, more frequent checks may be beneficial.
Q: What is the pinout configuration for the loose wires?
A: The four wires are color-coded: Red is VCC (5V), Black is GND, Yellow is the Analog Output (0-5V), and Blue is NC (Not Connected). Please refer to the datasheet included in the package for verification.
