Solid performance, documentation could be better
The hardware is excellent and very stable. The detection range is accurate as advertised. However, the UART command reference took some time to decipher. Once configured, it runs perfectly.

Incredible sensitivity for micro-motions
I was skeptical about detecting breathing, but this 60GHz module works flawlessly. It picks up subtle movements that PIR sensors completely miss. Great for my smart home automation project.

Best upgrade from PIR sensors
No more lights turning off while I'm reading still on the couch. This sensor detects my presence even when I am not moving much. Integration with ESP32 was straightforward.

High precision and reliable

Perfect for student projects

Great value for industrial prototyping
We tested several modules and this Waveshare unit offered the best balance of price and performance. It handles interference well in our office environment. Deducting one star only because the cable isn't included.

A: Yes, the module supports a supply voltage of 3.3V to 5V. However, please note that the UART TX pin is 3.3V logic level, so a level shifter is recommended when connecting to 5V MCUs for RX.

A: Under ideal conditions, the maximum detection range for human micro-motion is approximately 12 meters. For larger body movements, the range can extend slightly further depending on the environment.
