Solid performance
Works well for detecting knocks on a door or window. The build quality feels decent for a budget component. Just ensure you secure the wires well as the pins are standard header size.

Easy to integrate
Integrated this with an ESP8266 without any issues. The digital output is clean, and the documentation provided by the seller helped me get the code running in minutes. Highly recommended for beginners.

Perfect for my Arduino security project
This vibration sensor works exactly as described. The sensitivity potentiometer makes it very easy to tune out false alarms from minor bumps while still detecting significant shocks. Wiring was straightforward with clear labels on the PCB.

Reliable and compact
I used four of these in a home alarm prototype. They are compact enough to hide easily and respond instantly to vibration. The LED indicators are helpful for debugging during setup.

Good value, sensitive adjustment needed
Great little module for the price. Out of the box, it was a bit too sensitive for my needs, but after turning the potentiometer slightly, it works perfectly for monitoring my 3D printer vibrations.

Exceeded expectations
I was worried about consistency across multiple units, but all five sensors I ordered behave identically. Great for collision detection on small robots. Fast shipping too!
Q: How do I switch between Normally Open and Normally Closed modes?
A: The SW-18010P typically comes configured as Normally Open. To use it as Normally Closed, you may need to modify the jumper settings if available on your specific batch, or invert the logic in your software code, which is the recommended method.
Q: Can this sensor detect continuous vibration or only sudden shocks?
A: This module is primarily designed to detect sudden shocks or impacts. While it can react to strong continuous vibration, it is optimized for trigger events like a knock or a bump.
Q: What is the maximum current this module can handle?
A: This is a signal sensor module, not a power relay. The output pin should only be connected to a microcontroller GPIO or a low-current indicator. Do not connect high-load devices directly to the output pin.
Q: Does this come with headers soldered?
A: Most units ship with the 3-pin header strip included but unsoldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder them yourself or use jumper wires with female connectors.
Q: Is the output voltage compatible with 3.3V logic boards like ESP32?
A: Yes, the module operates on a 3.3V to 5V supply, and the digital output signal matches the input voltage level, making it fully compatible with 3.3V microcontrollers like the ESP32.
