Perfect for our wastewater plant

Reliable but calibration takes time
The sensor is very robust and handles high turbidity spikes well. My only minor complaint is that the initial calibration process requires precise standard solutions, but once set, it holds the value well.
Q: Can I use this sensor in seawater applications?
A: Yes, the TS-300B features a 316 Stainless Steel body which offers good corrosion resistance in saline environments. However, for long-term deployment in high-salinity ocean water, please ensure the cable glands are properly sealed.
Q: Is the cable length customizable beyond the standard 5 meters?
A: Yes, while the standard unit comes with 5 meters, we can manufacture custom lengths up to 100 meters upon request. Please contact our sales team before ordering for lead times on custom cables.
Q: Does the device store historical data internally?
A: No, the TS-300B is a real-time transmission module. It does not have internal data logging capabilities. You will need to connect it to an external data logger, PLC, or computer system to record historical values.
Q: Does this sensor require regular cleaning, and if so, how often?
A: For optimal accuracy, we recommend inspecting and cleaning the optical window every 3 to 6 months depending on the fouling rate of your specific water source. A soft cloth with mild detergent is usually sufficient.
Q: What calibration standards are compatible with this module?
A: The sensor is designed to work with standard Formazin or AMCO-AEPA-1 turbidity standards. You will need at least two points (typically 0 NTU and a mid-range value like 100 NTU) for accurate calibration.
