Solid component

Perfect for my custom fan controller

This module works exactly as described. I installed it in my project car to trigger the radiator fans when the temperature hits a specific point. The potentiometer makes calibration very easy.

Q: Can this module handle 24V systems?

A: Yes, the input voltage range is DC 5V to 12V for the logic, but the relay contacts can switch up to 250VAC or 30VDC. For a 24V system, ensure your control signal matches the module input or use a voltage divider.

Q: Is the temperature threshold fixed or adjustable?

A: The threshold is fully adjustable using the blue potentiometer on the board. You can set the trigger point anywhere within the sensor's detection range based on your specific needs.

Q: What is the maximum current the relay can switch?

A: The onboard relay is rated for a maximum of 10 Amps at 250V AC. For DC loads, we recommend staying under 5A to ensure longevity and prevent contact welding.

Q: Does this come with the thermistor probe attached?

A: Yes, the NTC thermistor probe is pre-soldered and included with the module. The cable length is approximately 20cm.

Q: Can I use this to trigger a warning light instead of a fan?

A: Absolutely. Since the output is a simple digital switch (Open/Close), you can connect it to any load within the relay's rating, including warning LEDs, buzzers, or small motors.
