Excellent for teaching kids robotics
Bought this for a weekend workshop with my kids. The wiring is straightforward, and the built-in LEDs help visualize when the sensor detects an object or line. Highly recommended for beginners.

Works well with Raspberry Pi GPIO
Connected this directly to my Raspberry Pi GPIO pins without any issues. The digital output is clean. Only giving 4 stars because the included pins were a bit loose, but easily fixed with soldering.

Perfect for my Arduino robot project
This sensor module works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment via the potentiometer makes it very easy to calibrate for different floor surfaces. I used two of these for a line-following car, and the response time is excellent.

Fast shipping and great performance

Good value but needs careful calibration
Great little sensor for the price. It took me a while to get the distance settings right for obstacle avoidance, but once calibrated, it performs consistently. Just make sure your power supply is stable.

A: Yes, the module operates on a voltage range of 3.3V to 5V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems such as the ESP32 and Raspberry Pi without needing a level shifter.
Q: How do I adjust the detection distance?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to turn it clockwise to increase sensitivity (longer distance) or counter-clockwise to decrease it. Test with your specific target object while adjusting.
Q: Does this come with jumper wires?
