Great accuracy, small footprint
Very impressed with the precision of this sensor. It fits perfectly on my custom PCB. Only giving 4 stars because the breakout board pins were slightly bent upon arrival, but easy to fix.

Easy to use with Raspberry Pi
As a beginner, I was worried about the I2C setup, but there are plenty of libraries available. This sensor gave me data within minutes of connecting it. Excellent product for learning.
Q: Does this module come with pull-up resistors for the I2C lines?
A: Yes, this breakout module includes built-in 4.7kΩ pull-up resistors on both SDA and SCL lines, so you can connect it directly to your microcontroller without external components.
Q: How do I calibrate the sensor if the readings seem off?
A: The SHT31 is factory-calibrated and generally does not require user calibration. If readings are inconsistent, check your power supply stability, ensure proper grounding, and verify that the sensor has acclimated to the environment for at least 10 minutes.
Q: Is there a library available for Python on Raspberry Pi?
A: Absolutely. You can use popular libraries like 'sht31' or generic I2C libraries such as 'smbus2'. We also provide sample code snippets in our GitHub repository linked in the product manual.
Q: What is the default I2C address for this sensor?
A: The default I2C address is 0x44. Some variants allow changing the address to 0x45 by bridging a specific pad on the board, please refer to the datasheet for details.
Q: Can this sensor be used outdoors in direct rain?
A: The sensor chip itself is robust, but the breakout board is not waterproof. For outdoor use in rain, you must house the module in a breathable, water-resistant enclosure to protect the electronics while allowing air flow.
