Good value, easy to use
Great little sensor for the price. It responds quickly to changes in light. I deducted one star because the silk printing on the board is slightly faint, but functionally it is flawless.

Solid performance
The build quality is decent for the cost. The photoresistor reacts well to both natural and artificial light sources. Just make sure to calibrate the potentiometer before final installation.

Exceeded expectations
Fast shipping and the product arrived well-packaged. The free Dupont lines saved me a trip to the store. The sensor triggers my relay module perfectly when the room gets dark.

Great for beginners
As someone new to electronics, I found this module very forgiving. It connects easily to breadboards, and there are plenty of tutorials online that work perfectly with this specific hardware.

Reliable detection
I bought five of these for a line-following robot that also needs ambient light detection. All units performed consistently. The digital output is clean and the analog reading is stable.

Perfect for my Arduino project
This sensor module works exactly as described. The sensitivity adjustment via the potentiometer is very smooth, allowing me to set the exact light threshold needed for my night-light project. The included wires were a nice bonus.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this sensor can handle?
A: The module is designed to operate safely between 3.3V and 5V DC. Please do not exceed 5V to avoid damaging the components.
Q: Are the jumper wires included in the package?
A: Yes, the package includes free Dupont jumper wires to help you get started immediately without needing to purchase cables separately.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity of the light detection?
A: There is a blue potentiometer on the board. Use a small screwdriver to rotate it; turning it one way increases sensitivity, while the other decreases it. Watch the signal LED to confirm the trigger point.
Q: Does this module provide an analog output signal?
A: Yes, this module features both a Digital Output (DO) and an Analog Output (AO), allowing you to read precise light intensity values or just a simple on/off state.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Absolutely. Since it operates at 3.3V-5V, it is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. You can use the digital output directly or the analog output with an ADC chip.
