Great for learning electronics

Used this for a university assignment on analog vs digital signals. It clearly demonstrates how light intensity affects resistance. The only minor issue is that the LED indicator is quite bright at night.

Good value, clear instructions needed

The hardware quality is solid and the Dupont lines make connection easy. However, beginners might struggle slightly without a diagram explaining the difference between the DO and AO pins. Once figured out, it works great.

Perfect for my Arduino project

This sensor module works flawlessly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity adjustment via the potentiometer is very responsive, allowing me to set the exact light threshold needed for my automatic night light project.

Q: Is the sensitivity adjustable for outdoor use?

A: The potentiometer allows you to adjust sensitivity, but please note this module is not waterproof. For outdoor use, it must be housed in a weatherproof enclosure.

Q: What is the difference between the AO and DO pins?

A: AO (Analog Output) provides a variable voltage corresponding to the light intensity, while DO (Digital Output) gives a high/low signal based on a threshold you set using the onboard potentiometer.

Q: Does this come with jumper wires?

A: Yes, the package includes Dupont lines pre-attached or provided separately depending on the specific pin configuration (3-pin or 4-pin) you selected.

Q: How do I connect this to a Raspberry Pi?
