Solid performance through walls
Impressed by the penetration capability. It can detect presence through thin drywall, which helps in my specific installation case. Just ensure you tune the sensitivity to avoid false positives from adjacent rooms.

Perfect for Home Automation Projects
This sensor is incredibly sensitive. I integrated it with my ESP32 to control lights in my office, and it detects even tiny movements like typing on a keyboard. The Bluetooth configuration app makes setting detection zones very easy.

Great value, minor learning curve
Works exactly as described. It took me a little while to understand the UART protocol documentation, but once configured, it's rock solid. Much better than passive infrared sensors for detecting stationary people.

Best in class for the price
Arrived quickly and well-packaged. The included pin headers were a nice touch. Firmware updates via Bluetooth are seamless. This is now my go-to sensor for all new projects.
Q: Can I use this directly with Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, you can connect it to an Arduino Uno using the UART pins (TX/RX). However, note that the module operates at 3.3V logic levels, so you may need a logic level converter if your board is strictly 5V.
Q: What is the maximum baud rate supported?
A: The default baud rate is 115200, but the module supports configurable rates up to 256000 bps for faster data throughput if your application requires it.
Q: What is the power consumption in standby mode?
A: The typical current consumption is approximately 45mA during active scanning. There isn't a deep sleep mode controlled internally; power management is typically handled by the host MCU.
Q: Does this module require an external antenna?
A: Yes, the HLK-LD2410B-P requires the included external antenna to be connected via the IPEX connector for proper operation. Do not operate the module without the antenna attached.
Q: Is there a mobile app to configure the detection zones?
