Solid performance in varying temps
Tested this in an outdoor enclosure where temperatures fluctuate. The sensor maintained accuracy throughout the range. The PWM output mode is particularly useful for my specific controller setup.

Great precision, easy to configure
The angle measurement is very accurate. I used the I2C interface with an Arduino Uno. The only reason for 4 stars is that the documentation could be slightly more detailed regarding register mapping, but overall a solid product.

Smooth operation for steering systems
Replaced a worn-out potentiometer in my RC car steering with this magnetic encoder. No more dead zones or wear issues. The magnetic coupling is strong and reliable. Will buy more for future builds.

Excellent for gimbal stabilization
Used this on a camera gimbal project. The low latency and high refresh rate make a noticeable difference in stabilization quality compared to older potentiometer setups. Very happy with the purchase.

Perfect drop-in replacement for AS5600
I needed a sensor for my robotic arm joint and this MT6701 module worked flawlessly. The SPI communication is stable, and the 14-bit resolution provides smooth movement without jitter. Highly recommended for DIY robotics.
Q: Does this module come with the magnet included?
A: Yes, the package includes the MT6701 module board and a diametrically magnetized ring magnet suitable for installation on the shaft.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V microcontroller like ESP32?
A: Absolutely. The module supports an operating voltage range of 3.3V to 5.0V, making it fully compatible with 3.3V logic systems like the ESP32 or STM32.
Q: What is the maximum RPM this sensor can handle?
A: The MT6701 has a very fast response time and can accurately measure angles at speeds exceeding 30,000 RPM, depending on your interface polling speed.
Q: Is there a library available for Arduino?
A: Yes, there are several open-source libraries available on GitHub that support the MT6701 via SPI and I2C. We recommend checking the 'MT6701-Arduino' repository for easy integration.
Q: How do I change the output mode from SPI to ABZ?
A: The output mode is configured by writing to specific configuration registers via the SPI or I2C interface during initialization. Please refer to the datasheet section 'Mode Configuration' for the exact register addresses and values.
